Diagonal Media Receives
NGLCC Certification

We’re thrilled to share that Diagonal Media (DGNL) has just received our exclusive NGLCC certification, signifying that the company is majority LGBTQ+ owned and operated.

This certification comes through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Supplier Diversity Initiative. The NGLCC is the business voice of the LGBT community and serves as the nation’s exclusive certifying body for LGBT-owned and operated businesses.

Blake Drummond is the Founder and CEO of Diagonal Media, a Creative Agency that he started out of his Hell’s Kitchen, NYC walkup with his partner Dan Yund in 2015. Since then our company has become one of the fastest-growing independent creative agencies in the tri-state area.

“We are so pleased to welcome DGNL to the ever-expanding network of NGLCC certified LGBT Business Enterprises and the hundreds of corporations and government agencies eager to put them to work,” said NGLCC Co-Founder and President Justin Nelson and Co-Founder and CEO Chance Mitchell.

We’re thrilled to join this network! Blake shares that “Growing up gay was not easy – but over the last 20 years, I’ve been able to come out in my career, and I have thrived in the TV and film industry. Being an out business owner means so much to me because as a kid, I never imagined that this would be possible.”

Blake spent 8 years working in the union production world as a Production Coordinator on such shows as Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, and White Collar. Recognizing companies needed to outsource content creation, he pivoted his production skills into starting DGNL.

This LGBTBE® certification and anything we can do to put a spotlight on LGBTQ+ owned businesses, signals to other LGBTQ+ people that it is possible to become a leader. It is overcoming the odds that actually leads to stronger leadership skills.

Please join us on this journey. We’d love to work with you, just reach out!
