When you opt-in to optimism you give other people permission to do the same. Fear is an easy motivator and we’re faced with a constant influx of ‘clickbait’ that stirs fear. As content creators, we have the option to not buy into a fear-based system.

Yes, we’re still competing for everyone’s attention.
People have short attention spans. If you don’t capture their attention in the first 3 seconds of a video people will scroll to the next thing. Being light and positive does not mean being boring – keep your content pithy, interesting, visually pleasing, and maybe even daring.
It is our job to communicate in a way that elicits a response.
Start with energy, provide the information, and then close with something fun with a little more personality. People sense authenticity right away. The end goal of content must be to connect.
Dare to be defiantly present, bring your vulnerability to the forefront, and take risks.
